i know i haven't been good about posting at all, but with everyone popping up with new blogs, i'm motivated to start up again.
today i got to spend the day with an amazing individual. ellie zaher. she just turned six months old and she's awesome. we watched patch adams and sat in the rocking chair and she napped on my chest. it's been so incredible to watch her grow and develop and change, to see God's beauty in His creation of a little girl. and she has such joy. and to see her with holly, the way she depends on her, the instant comfort she feels being near her. what a blessing it has been to have ellie, holly and jim in my life. while i know it's a ways off, i can't wait to be a mom. if i love ellie this much, i can't believe the incredible experience it will be to feel the love for my own child.
oh, also, hol and i watched i heart huckabees. not sure what i thought about it. was sort of taxing, but worth watching. definitely think it needs another viewing to wrap my mind around everything that happened.
