rama lama ding dong

so i'm sitting in the beehive, by myself feeling just a little bit lame because i can't find anyone to hang out with, but it's alright, at least i look cool. yes, because that's what really matters.

tonight i went to see hannah in her first high school theatre production, Grease. now i did Grease as a freshman in high school, but i also went to an almost all white, new money, we're good at everything high school. this production had some serious ghetto flare goin on, and it was awesome, and hannah was adorable, and it made me miss theatre. i sat there during intermission and thought about how i'd love to tap into the pittsburgh theatre scene, but then i started remember what a huge time committment productions always took, uh huh, i so have that extra time. i think i still do want to work on making franny and zooey or nine stories into a one act or a short though. i don't know if i could do salinger justice, but how do i know until i try, right? well, one more thing to add to my never ending list of cool projects to start. tack on trying my hand at filming shorts, nooma-esque. i went to the show tonight with megan and trevor. it was nice to be in their company, but i also kinda felt like the third wheel. i think i'm getting used to being "the single one" but at times i kind of just wish i had someone sitting on the other side of me.

well marianne comes in tomorrow. i haven't seen that girl in a year, seems virtually impossible but it's true. it will be so good to see her. i'm sure we'll find something fun to do around town. maybe get my nose pierced? hmm...maybe not. going into the river on sunday with a fresh piercing seems to be just begging for an infection. i made a major purchase today for my "new" "white" clothing to be wearing on sunday, it's a dress. now i hardly EVER wear dresses, which means i purchase them even less frequently, but i think i like this one and it will be fun to wear it on sunday. i've been trying to figure out how to mentally prepare myself for sunday. tim asked me about it and said "well i'm sure you've put a lot of thought into this decision over the past couple years, i'm sure you're prepared." yes, i suppose i am, but part of me keeps feeling like there should be a higher standard i should be holding myself to with this. but the rest of me realizes i can't overanalyze this, and i need to be able to let go and CELEBRATE!

well, i suppose i've rambled enough for now. i guess i'll just go home.
